Main uses of the product: 1-Hexene 592-41-6 are mainly used as comonomers of polyolefins (HDPE and LLDPE), and can be used to produce plastics, polyolefin elastomers, surfactants and intermediates (Detergent Alcohols, linear alkylbenzene, alkyl dimethylamine α- Olefin sulfonate, diphenyl ether disulfonate), alcohol for plasticizer, synthetic lubricating oil, petroleum additive, oilfield chemicals. A small amount of use is for the production of synthetic acids, alkenyl butanedialdehyde, epoxide, mercaptan, polybutene-1, pentanol, high molecular weight wax, metal working fluid and other products. C6 (Hexene-1) and C8 (octene-1) are used as comonomers for HDPE and LLDPE production, accounting for more than 50% of the total consumption. C8 (octene-1) is used as a polymer α- Olefins (PAO) produce lubricants.
