Product name: Guanylurea Phosphate
Synonyms: GUP
CAS: 17675-60-4
Appearance: White powder
Application
Application: flame retardant of paper, textile, wood, polyurethane, etc.
Guanylurea phosphate are widely used in intumescent fire-retardant coatings, polyethylene, polypropylene, polyurethane, epoxy resin, rubber products, fiberboard, plywood, textiles, paper (can be used for insulating paper) and dry powder fire extinguishing agents, etc. It is a safe and efficient phosphate non halogen smoke elimination flame retardant.
Guanylurea phosphate has high flame retardancy, dimensional stability, hydrolysis resistance, and heat resistance in polyurethane rigid foams. The amount of toxic and corrosive gases generated in rigid polyurethane foams is also much lower than that of halogen-containing polyurethane foams.
Guanylurea phosphate has the function of expansion and flame retardant, so it is more conducive to reducing smoke and resisting dropping. Although it is solid, it is easy to disperse in polyols.
Generally speaking, polyurethane components containing more polyester polyols are more suitable for flame retardant than polyether polyols. The amount of addition is 5 to 20.
Besides hard polyurethane foam plastics and polyester soft polyurethane foam plastics, it is also applicable to other resins, adhesives and coatings.
