Main properties of Rubber Accelerator ZMBT CAS 155-04-4
Light yellow powder, slightly bitter, non-toxic. The specific gravity is 1.70 (20 ℃) and the decomposition temperature is 300 ℃. Soluble in chloroform and acetone, partially soluble in benzene, ethanol and carbon tetrachloride, insoluble in gasoline, water and ethyl acetate. The storage stability period is more than two years. It decomposes in the presence of strong acid or alkali solution.
Main purpose of Rubber Accelerator ZMBT CAS 155-04-4
It is mainly used as main accelerator with PZ or ZDC in latex. The latex film vulcanized with MZ has high modulus. In addition, good compression and shrinkage characteristics can be obtained without increasing the curing time in the foam glue. MZ does not affect the stability of latex. When used on dry rubber, its characteristics are similar to m, but the scorch performance is slightly improved.
