Polyethylene glycol PEG 3000 can be used for Casting mould in metal work, as lubricant and Cutting agent in drawing metal or metal pressing, as lubricant polish agent,solder in rubbing and cooling process; as lubricant in Paper Industry, also can be as hot-melt adhesive to increase rapid rewet ability.
PEG 3000 is soluble in water, methanol, ethanol, acetonitrile, benzene, and dichloromethane, and is insoluble in diethyl ether and hexane.

Application
1) PEG can be used in pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, chemical engineering, rubber, metal finishing, pesticide, pigment and spinning & weaving fields.
2) PEG is also one of the main materials of ester type surface active agent.
