Application
Fluoroboric acid is a catalyst for aldehyde synthesis, a metal surface cleaner, a polish for lead electrolysis, a diazonium salt stabilizer and so on;
It is also used to clean metal surface or before alloy electroplate. Fluoroboric acid is one component of preservatives for deactivating aluminum and steel phosphate, an optimum lead soluble electrolyte for lead storage battery, a enhancer of crude oil infiltration capacity in oil field exploitation, a raw material of making diazonium salt stabilizer and various fluoborate, alkylation and polymerization catalyst, a cleaner and corrodent of metal surface oxide, silicate film.

Storage
It should be stored in a shady, ventilating and dry storehouse. Its shelf life is one year. It can be still used if up to standard through retest after the specified date. Should start using the product in air-drying place. When radical changes of humidity occurs, it will recrystallize and agglomerate.
