Application 

Mainly used in the photographic industry as a fixer. Secondly, it is used as a reducing agent for dichromate during tanning, a neutralizer for nitrogenous exhaust gas, a mordant, a bleaching agent for straw and wool, and a dechlorination agent for bleaching pulp. It is also used in the manufacture of tetraethyl lead, dye intermediates, etc., and silver extraction from ore. 　

1. Used as a dechlorinating agent after bleaching paper pulp and cotton fabrics, as a chelating agent and antioxidant in the food industry, and as a detergent and disinfectant in the pharmaceutical industry.

2. It is used for dehydrochlorination of natural gas, naphtha, synthesis gas, hydrogen nitrogen and other gases to protect downstream catalysts from poisoning. If the gas contains organic chlorine, it should be converted into hydrogen chloride through a cobalt-molybdenum hydrogenation catalyst before using a dechlorinating agent to absorb hydrogen chloride. Suitable for the removal of chlorine such as hydrogen, nitrogen, synthesis gas, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, naphtha, etc.

3. Used as a photographic fixer in the photosensitive industry. The paper industry is used as a dechlorinating agent after bleaching pulp. Used in printing and dyeing industry as a dechlorinating agent after bleaching cotton fabrics. Analysis chemistry is used as a reagent for chromatography and volume analysis. Used as detergent and disinfectant in medicine. Food industry is used as chelating agent, antioxidant, etc.

4. Used as a complexing agent for thiosulfate silver plating. Make the silver-plated layer crystal fine and cover it well. The usual dosage is 200～250 g/L. Used as brightener in cyanide silver plating. The dosage is 0.5～1.09 g/L. The silver crystals can be oriented, and then a bright and semi-bright silver plating layer can be obtained.

5. Used in film, textile, chemical fiber, paper making, leather making and pesticide industries.
